Wil received his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Boston University in 1984, and his J.D. from Duke Law School in 1988. Over the course of his legal career, Wil has tried over 200 cases, first as a prosecutor in New York City and Seattle, then as a  family law attorney  in Washington State.







 
Family Law: Wil handles a wide variety of family law cases involving: divorce, parenting plans, child custody, protection orders, child support, and post-judgment enforcement. In addition to his court-based practice, Wil is also trained as a collaborative family law attorney, for those clients wishing to resolve their cases without litigation.

Wil’s practice also focuses on issues related to addiction and mental health. His Continuing Legal Education seminar: “Life After Meth: Addiction, Recovery and Mental Health in the Legal Community” has been enthusiastically received all over the country. Wil’s own tale of addiction, recovery and reinvention was the cover story of Northwest Lawyer Magazine’s June 2014 edition.

Wil brings a wealth of legal and life experiences to his practice, and is highly regarded as a formidable and effective advocate for his clients, both inside and outside the courtroom.
